During the year of 2023, I join lots of the events to exchange ideas and explore,  like Fintech Week 2023, HK-SZ-Macau Big Data Forum 2023, HK ICT Expo 2023, From all these events,  Hong Kong Computer Society China Fintech Tour is a top highlight in 2023. This immersive experience allowed me to witness firsthand the intricate system architectures of two fintech giants, WeBank and PingOn Finance. What unfolded during this tour was a revelation of Alibaba’s De-IOE (IBM, Oracle & EMC) Cloud architecture. Understanding this move sheds light on the efficiency gains,  cost savings and strategic importance of an optimized architecture.

Equally captivating was the glimpse into how WeBank leverages machine learning to shape the financial landscape globally and allowing us to discuss the federated learning in the banking industry and exchange the ideas on data masking on federated learning.
